We are partnered with a great startup serving up wonderful experiences, called IfOnly and through them, African Boheme (@africanboheme), recently joined our Chelsea Market Food Tour. Here’s what she said to say…
“For the past decade, I visit the city several times a year and have been making up for lost time. But one thing I have never done in New York is a food tour. Again, I don’t know why. I tend to take a food tour in every other city I visit, but never New York. But now I am a NYC food tour virgin no more. I recently signed up for a food tour in Brooklyn. A tour called Williamsburg Bites: A Brooklyn Foodie Adventure. The cost of the tour was only $50, which is cheaper than most any other tour I have taken in any other city (and they New York City is the most expensive!) And honestly, for that lower price, I was expecting a mediocre tour with limited samples and not a lot of personality. And I was wrong.”
We are so excited to introduce you to Ariel Rodriguez of La Sonrisa, a Pop-Up Empanada company selling in artisan markets and parks throughout NYC. We visit them on the High Line as part of our Chelsea Market & High Line Food Tour. Read on to learn what makes La Sonrisa so special!
The Flatiron District and Union Square are wonderful neighborhoods in winter! From beautiful Madison Square Park, great views of the Empire State Building on Fifth Avenue to the majestic Flatiron Building and of course all the wonderful restaurants and delicious foods that we have in store for you on our Flatiron Food Tour. Plus Eataly has a special rooftop surprise and there is an incredible public art piece…
I am so pleased to announce a new experience! Love BBQ? Go behind the scenes and meet some of the pit masters with a licensed tour guide who used to run a BBQ Joint in Brooklyn! From Williamsburg to Red Hook and in between, we’ve got you covered. We know what to order where.
For anyone who wanted to try Katz’s Deli food and potentially skip the nonstop insanity that is their Houston Street location, we’ve got your answer! DeKalb Market Hall!
Dekalb Market Hall showcases 40 vendors, that, according to their website, “reflect the cultural and ethnic diversity of the borough.” They also reflect the latest in food trends as represented by vendors that also participate at Smorgasburg, Bergen, Le District and other great food markets that can be found in NYC and Brooklyn…
We are so pleased to have this tiny but historic (and famous!), classic New York luncheonette on our Flatiron food adventure. We truly do bring you the best of New York City … especially on a fork!
From a bygone era on Ladies’ Mile, Eisenberg’s Sandwich Shop is an institution. Located on Fifth Avenue just below 23rd Street and established in 1929, generations of family and friends have dined here.
